Richard J. Wiseman, MD
Dr. Richard J. Wiseman completed his undergraduate studies at Memorial University, Newfoundland, Canada, and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1969. The doctor practiced his first ten years in Canada as a family care practitioner before moving with his family to Austin in 1979. Dr. Wiseman is certified to practice medicine by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, and is a respected member of the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Wiseman has extensive experience in pediatrics, OB-GYN, hypothyroidism treatment, functional medicine, emergency medicine, integrative medicine, alternative medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and general family medicine.
Dr. Wiseman has been married to his wife Diane for over 40 years, and together they have three sons. Middle son Jeremy is a primary care physician at Wiseman Family Practice. Jason, the eldest, is a Solutions Architect in Austin, and Joshua, the youngest, is a small business owner currently residing in California.
Rebecca Brown, FNP-C
Rebecca Brown, APRN, FNP-C received an Associate Degree in Nursing Science from Blinn College in Bryan-College Station in 1997. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor’s and Masters of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. In 2011 the Texas Board of Nursing granted a postgraduate certification as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Care. She maintains memberships in professional associations including American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Ms. Brown has experience in cardiology, hormone therapy, home healthcare, and acute and chronic disease management. Rebecca is interested in general family medicine, integrative and functional medicine, pediatrics, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy with a primary focus on disease prevention and health promotion.
When not helping others achieve their healthcare goals, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and fur-kids. She also enjoys mountain biking, running, and traveling.
Laura Facchini, FNP-C
Laura Facchini, APRN, FNP-C earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron in Ohio. She spent nearly 25 years as a perioperative nurse in surgery ensuring the highest of safety standards for every patient. She then pursued her dream of getting her Master’s degree and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Texas A&M, Corpus Christi. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the Obesity Medicine Association. She embraces a collaborative approach with the patient in providing holistic and compassionate integrative care. She provides health education and encourages patients to modify their lifestyle for disease prevention and optimal health. Laura also has a special interest in general family medicine, functional medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and pediatrics.
When not empowering patients to take charge of their health, Laura enjoys running, fitness, solar therapy, and travel with her family. She also has joyfully served as a volunteer preschool life group leader at her church for 15 years.
Narine Milter, FNP-C
Narine Milter, APRN, FNP-C got her start as a nurse in her hometown of Kiev, Ukraine in 1989. In 1993, she emigrated to the United States and took a break from nursing to build her new life in the U.S. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science in 2000. After working in tech for a few years, Narine began to greatly miss her true calling of nursing and completed an Accelerated Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing program at Rush University in Chicago. While working as a registered nurse in the IMCU at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a major in Family Nurse Practitioner from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. In August 2021, Narine and her family moved to Austin, and she joined Wiseman Family Practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Narine is board certified by the Texas Board of Nursing and maintains memberships in professional associations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Narine has experience in cardiology, home healthcare, as well as acute and chronic disease management. Her approach greatly emphasizes patient education. She has interests in general family medicine, integrative and functional medicine, nutrition, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and pediatrics. Narine strives to empower her patients to take their health into their own hands and be proactive in caring for themselves on all levels.
Outside of work, Narine enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, exploring new places in Austin, and staying active through fitness.
Sherry Fulmer, FNP-C
Sherry Fulmer, APRN, FNP-C earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. With over ten years of critical care, internal and lifestyle medicine experience, Sherry’s passion is rooted in empowering patients to thrive and achieve optimal holistic health. Before her career in nursing, Sherry earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Government at New Mexico State University, with a career in public service and policy. Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Austin Advanced Practice Nurses. Sherry has a special interest in general family medicine, preventive medicine, integrative and functional medicine, pediatrics, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy with a primary focus on disease prevention and health promotion.
With an international upbringing, Sherry has traveled the world and chose the Austin area as her permanent home with her husband, two daughters, and their beagle. She actively volunteers within the Cedar Park community and enjoys reading, cooking, and time outdoors.
Dayna Twyman, FNP-C
Dayna Twyman MSN, APRN, FNP-C, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western Governors University, a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner from Angelo State University, and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Area Nurse Practitioners, Angelo State University Nursing Honor Society, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Dayna has nursing experience in family medicine, surgical care, and women’s health. She has a special interest in nutrition, integrative and functional medicine, preventive medicine, and general family medicine as well as pediatrics and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Dayna enjoys helping her patients make the lifestyle changes that will improve their health.

Emily Parsons, FNP-C
Emily obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus in family medicine, from Concordia University in Wisconsin. She obtained certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Emily has also received certification in aesthetic medicine and procedural sedation. She is a member of the National Honor Society of Nursing and the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association. Her career experience includes mental healthcare, telemedicine integration, healthcare prevention, and treatment across the lifespan. Emily has a special interest in integrative and functional medicine, pediatrics, general family medicine, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She values the opportunity to use her education to care for others, and it is her joy to promote health and wellness.
Emily and her husband have one daughter, two dogs, and several fish. Emily loves spending time with her family and friends around the dinner table or out hiking. She enjoys swimming for exercise, baking, and growing a vegetable garden to share.
Lisa Stowell, DC
Dr. Lisa Stowell is a 1996 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, California. She also holds an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on human nutrition. Dr. Stowell is board certified and licensed as a chiropractic doctor by the Board of National Chiropractic Examiners in Texas as well as California.
Dr. Stowell practices under the approach of Synergized Holistic methods including all aspects of Eastern and Western care to best treat a patient. Dr. Stowell brings her highly regarded, cutting-edge method SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique) to the Greater Austin area. Her SOT method includes a very gentle yet extremely effective approach to the areas of the neck when patients (including those with excessive arthritis) cannot tolerate the more rapid method that is often used in chiropractic care. Dr. Stowell is able to help more people with these very gentle, advanced techniques.
When not in the office, Dr. Stowell enjoys country dancing, walking along where water meets land, practicing yoga, and trying new fresh and healthy eateries around town . . . as well as traveling and exploring new territories.

She is board certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She is a certified practitioner of the American Organization for the Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA), practicing Tuina, Gua sha, and cupping therapies. She maintains a membership with Acupuncturists without Borders. Robyn has experience in treating a wide range of health disorders using acupuncture, bodywork, and herbal medicine, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal pain conditions, headaches and migraines, women’s health, stress and anxiety, and health concerns related to the aging process.

Jamie Garza, FNP-C earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. After moving to Austin from New England and practicing as an RN, she completed her Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner education from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, and is board certified by the Texas Board of Nursing. She has a professional focus on nutrigenomics, nutraceuticals, and mind-body therapies to achieve optimal wellness.

Stephanie Tabone, FNP-C earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. She went on to obtain a Master’s in Nursing Administration from UT Austin and a Master’s in Family Nursing Practice from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau honor societies. She also maintains membership in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Stephanie has a background in medical surgical nursing, public health, and rehabilitation nursing. Her passion as a Family Nurse Practitioner is to help people obtain the highest level of health possible, recognizing the challenges many people face on that journey. She has always had a strong interest in integrative and alternative medicine starting with gathering and identifying medicinal herbs in the woods of West Virginia as a young woman, along with keeping a constant eye on the research establishing integrative practices into the standard of care. Dr. Jeremy D. Wiseman received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas, in 1998, and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas, in 2006. Dr. Wiseman completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio-McAllen Family Practice Residency Program as of June 2009. The doctor has an avid interest in general family medicine, as well as pediatrics, women’s health, functional medicine, preventive medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, alternative medicine, weight loss, integrative medicine, and sports medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Janice Mattocks, FNP-C earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She then received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. While working as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a major in Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas State University. Mrs. Mattocks is board certified by the Texas Board of Nursing and upholds memberships in professional associations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Texas Nurse Practitioners. Mary Harrison, FNP-C is a native Texan who has called Austin home for the last seven years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing from the University of Texas-Health Science Center in Houston and went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing with a major in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to earning her nursing degrees, she received her Bachelor’s Degree of Psychology from the University of Houston. Mary began her career as a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Level 1 trauma center followed by years of experience as a Pediatric Rheumatology and Neurology infusion nurse. Mary Harrison is board certified by the Texas Board of Nursing and upholds memberships in multiple professional associations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Texas Nurse Practitioners. Mary has a passion for pediatrics, women’s health, bioidentical hormone therapy, integrative and family medicine with an overall focus on disease prevention and health promotion. Nancy Tilelli, CHHC, is a Certified Holistic Health Coach. She received her certification from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, NY. She also became certified as a Health Coach through the AADP in 2014. She also earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Addiction Counseling. In 2016 she earned a certification as a Recovery Coach from The Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery. Nancy has over 10 years of experience in health and wellness coaching, specializing in lifestyle-related illness and prevention, stress management, weight loss, and anti-aging. It is her mission and passion to empower others to use nutrition and lifestyle changes to heal the body, maintain proper body weight, and feel good inside their own skin.

David Knight, FNP-C
David Knight, FNP-C earned both his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. David maintains board certification as an advanced practice nurse with the Texas Board of Nursing as well as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and memberships with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. David’s nursing experience includes emergency care, intensive care, and ambulatory surgery. Before his career as a nurse, David was a Licensed Paramedic and spent 12 years working in Emergency Medical Services throughout Travis, Williamson, Hays and Caldwell Counties. David has an interest in general family medicine, pediatrics, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, holistic health, and functional and integrative medicine with an emphasis on prevention through exercise, diet, and healthy behavioral modification.
David and his wife Heidi have two daughters. David is a four-time Ironman triathlon finisher, and an avid cyclist and runner.

Juanita Martin, FNP-C
Juanita Martin began her nursing career in 1995 after attending Howard College in San Angelo, Texas. Juanita continued her education and earned a degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from San Angelo State University. Juanita has worked in various areas of health care including Neonatal ICU, Mother/Baby Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medical Services, and Medical and Surgical hospital care. Juanita is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has worked in smaller rural clinics and larger primary care settings. Juanita is active in several nurse practitioner groups including president-elect of the San Angelo Coalition of Nurses in Advanced Practice (SACNAP) and a member of the San Antonio Nursing Advisory Board for the East Coast Polytechnic Institute. Juanita has a special interest in integrative and alternative medicine, general family medicine, pediatrics, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and disease prevention, and is grateful for the opportunity to be part of Wiseman Family Practice, where she can continue to grow professionally and provide new advanced medical treatments for her patients.
