Jeremy D. Wiseman, MD
Dr. Jeremy D. Wiseman received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas, in 1998, and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas, in 2006. Dr. Wiseman completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio-McAllen Family Practice Residency Program as of June 2009. The doctor has an avid interest in general family medicine, as well as women’s health, functional medicine, preventive medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, alternative medicine, weight loss, integrative medicine, and sports medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is currently a serving member of the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners.
In his free time, Dr. Wiseman enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling.
Richard J. Wiseman, MD
Dr. Richard J. Wiseman completed his undergraduate studies at Memorial University, Newfoundland, Canada, and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1969. The doctor practiced his first ten years in Canada as a family care practitioner before moving with his family to Austin in 1979. Dr. Wiseman is certified to practice medicine by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, and is a respected member of the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Wiseman has extensive experience in pediatrics, OB-GYN, hypothyroidism treatment, functional medicine, emergency medicine, integrative medicine, alternative medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and general family medicine.
Dr. Wiseman has been married to his wife Diane for over 40 years, and together they have three sons. Middle son Jeremy is a primary care physician at Wiseman Family Practice. Jason, the eldest, is a Solutions Architect in Austin, and Joshua, the youngest, is a small business owner currently residing in California.
Sellma Vllasi, FNP-C
Sellma Vllasi, FNP–C received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas, and her Masters of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, with post–graduate certification by the Texas Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Care. Ms. Vllasi maintains memberships in professional associations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. With over ten years nursing experience in women’s health as well as chronic disease management and prevention, Ms. Vllasi has a keen interest in preventive medicine, functional medicine, women’s health, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, integrative medicine, alternative medicine, and comprehensive health care for the family across the lifespan.
When not assisting patients with their health care needs, Ms. Vllasi enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and running.
Lauren J. Colletti, FNP-C
Lauren J. Colletti, FNP-C earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and her Nursing degree and Masters of Science in Public Health Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. Mrs. Colletti then completed her Post-Masters Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from The University of Texas at Austin and is board certified by the Texas Board of Nursing. Mrs. Colletti maintains memberships in professional associations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. With experience in cardiology, critical care, and medical surgical nursing, Mrs. Colletti has an interest in healthcare across the lifespan, including alternative and preventive medicine, health promotion, functional medicine, natural child birth, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, integrative medicine, chronic disease management, and nutrition.
Mrs. Colletti was a Division III college soccer player, and now enjoys participating in many outdoor activities with her husband Sam, their two children, and their dog Bodhi.
Courtney Rau, fnp-c
Courtney Rau, FNP-C earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Ms. Rau maintains board certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse with the Texas Board of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Rau’s experience with general family medicine allows her to provide comprehensive care across the lifespan with emphasis on preventive medicine, alternative medicine, functional medicine, integrative medicine, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.
In addition to striving to provide the best comprehensive integrative medical care to patients, Ms. Rau enjoys spending time with her husband, competitive ballroom dancing, and playing with her Corgi, Sheldon.
Meagan L. Wempe, FNP-C
Meagan Wempe received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, with post-graduate certification by the Texas Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Care. Mrs. Wempe upholds memberships with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. With over ten years of nursing experience in pediatric and adult health, Mrs. Wempe has an increased interest in preventative and nutritional medicine along with woman’s health, chronic disease management, integrative medicine, functional medicine, general family medicine, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.
When not helping others reach their health potential, Mrs. Wempe serves as an elder in her church and enjoys many activities including group fitness, spending time with her husband and three sons, traveling, and dancing.
Linda Siebert, FNP-C
Linda Siebert, MSN, FNP-C earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology Degree from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos in 1993 and a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997. She then returned to The University of Texas at Austin to complete her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate. She maintains board certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse with the Texas Board of Nursing and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Linda maintains memberships in professional associations including The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has an interest in general family medicine, integrative medicine, functional medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and women’s health.
Linda enjoys camping, hiking and kayaking with her husband and two daughters. She also volunteers through the Capital Area Master Naturalist Program in association with Texas Parks and Wildlife to foster awareness and appreciation of our local natural resources and encourage outdoor exploration and activity.
Katherine B. Webster, MAOM, L.Ac.
Katherine Webster received her Masters Degree from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas. She is board certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board. Katherine is experienced in treating a wide range of health issues, including women’s health, addiction, and treating patients with chronic pain. She strongly believes in the power of integrative care and is passionate about the importance of an integration of western and eastern philosophies to treat the entire person.
In her free time, Katherine is busy raising her son with her husband in Cedar Park, Texas. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends along with traveling.
TK Largey, MAOM, L.Ac.
TK Largey received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and a Master’s degree from the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin in 2012. TK is board certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board. TK believes in the importance of integrative care and enjoys introducing patients to the benefits of acupuncture. She wants to learn a person’s story and work together to find a treatment plan that addresses healthcare concerns while respecting the individual.
TK lives in South Austin with her husband and young daughter. She enjoys reading just about anything, exploring the constantly changing face of Austin and its people, and being outdoors.
Noel Peterson, CCH, C.HP
Noel Peterson, CCH, C.HP, is a classical homeopath nationally certified by the Council on Homeopathic Certification. He obtained his homeopathy training from the 4-year program offered at Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy in Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated in 2009. Noel then opened his professional practice in Austin, Texas in 2010. He is also certified by Free and Healthy Children International to administer Homeoprophylaxis, a vaccine alternative. Noel is a member of the Texas Society of Homeopathy, North American Society of Homeopaths, and the National Center for Homeopathy. He also served as a board member for the Minnesota Homeopathic Association. Noel is a published author in national homeopathic journals and natural health publications in the Austin, Texas area. In addition to his homeopathy practice, Noel is pursuing an Executive MBA in Healthcare degree from Baylor University with an expected graduation in May 2016. Noel is committed to changing the landscape of health care in the 21 century and believes holistic health therapies should be a part of that solution.
Noel is a father of two young boys and is married to his wife, Katharina. He loves traveling and being physically active outdoors doing most anything.
Devaki Lindsey Berkson, m.a., c.n.s., d.a.c.b.n, a.c.n.
Devaki Lindsey Berkson is a well–respected nutritionist and hormone expert with a diverse background of clinical experience. She approaches patient care with the goal of balancing each person from both a hormonal and nutritional perspective, an approach that traditional medicine often overlooks. She has complimented this experience with a unique body of academic research that has resulted in numerous journal publications and articles. Dr. Berkson is a best–selling author with fifteen books on health and nutrition, four with a focus on hormones. Dr. Berkson has a Master’s Degree in Nutrition, with three higher board certifications in nutrition which include the American College of Nutrition, Diplomat of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition, and Applied Certified Nutritionist. The doctor has been intimately involved in many cutting edge medical projects including working as a participating scholar at a think tank on estrogens and the environment at Tulane and Xavier Universities (Center for Bioenvironmental Research), working on a patented bioidentical hormone, co-inventing a new generation of diabetic and dialysis medication, formulating the first non-hormonal nutritional supplement for menopausal women, as well as the first natural vitamin line for hormonal issues in women. Beth Blanchard, C-IAYT, RYT500
Beth Blanchard received her 1000-hour Yoga certification from Integrated Yoga Therapy, her Registered Yoga Teacher Certification from Living Yoga Program, and her Unergi certification from Unergi Body-Psychotherapy. Her experience includes more than 25 years in various sectors of the natural product industry, including 15 years as a Homeopathic Trainer and Regional Manager, where she introduced homeopathy to Whole Foods as well as many pharmacies and surgeons.
Ms. Blanchard is a mother of two who raised her children in the holistic lifestyle she has applied most of her life. She has been practicing Yoga since her early teens and enjoys running, biking, swimming, dancing, hiking, travel, gardening, music, and time with her family.
