Richard J. Wiseman, MD

Dr. Richard J. Wiseman completed his undergraduate studies at Memorial University, Newfoundland, Canada, and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1969. The doctor practiced his first ten years in Canada as a family care practitioner before moving with his family to Austin in 1979. Dr. Wiseman is certified to practice medicine by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, and is a respected member of the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Wiseman has extensive experience in pediatrics, OB-GYN, hypothyroidism treatment, functional medicine, emergency medicine, integrative medicine, alternative medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and general family medicine.

Dr. Wiseman has been married to his wife Diane for over 40 years, and together they have three sons. Middle son Jeremy is a primary care physician at Wiseman Family Practice. Jason, the eldest, is a Solutions Architect in Austin, and Joshua, the youngest, is a small business owner currently residing in California.

Linda Siebert, FNP-C

Linda Siebert, MSN, FNP-C earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos in 1993 and a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997.  She then returned to The University of Texas at Austin to complete her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate.  She maintains board certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse with the Texas Board of Nursing and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  Linda maintains memberships in professional associations including The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has an interest in general family medicine, integrative medicine, functional medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, pediatrics, and women’s health.

Linda enjoys camping, hiking and kayaking with her husband and two daughters.  She also volunteers through the Capital Area Master Naturalist Program in association with Texas Parks and Wildlife to foster awareness and appreciation of our local natural resources and encourage outdoor exploration and activity.

Rebecca Brown, APRN, FNP-C received an Associate Degree in Nursing Science from Blinn College in Bryan-College Station in 1997. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor’s and Masters of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. Shane Lambert, FNP-C, graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX, and went on to earn his Master’s degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. He spent nearly the last decade of his fifteen-year career working in emergency/trauma and critical care settings, but his desire to build longer-lasting therapeutic relationships with the patients he cares for led him to a professional focus with a family practice that provides preventive and integrative medicine, general family medicine, pediatrics, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and functional medicine.
