Jamie Garza, FNP-C

Jamie  Garza, FNP-C earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. After moving to Austin from New England and practicing as an RN, she completed her Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner education from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, and is board certified by the Texas Board of Nursing. Jamie maintains memberships in professional associations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. With nursing experience in women’s health and pediatrics, Jamie has a keen interest in health promotion, preventive medicine, functional medicine, women’s health, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, integrative medicine, alternative medicine, pediatrics, and comprehensive health care for the family across the lifespan.

When not helping others with their health and wellness goals, Jamie enjoys canoeing and hiking with her husband and blue heeler. She often visits New Hampshire to see family and enjoys the mountain and lakes region.

Kristen Pajares, FNP-C

Kristen Pajares, FNP-C received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas State University. She is a member of the Integrative Practitioners, Austin Advanced Practice Nurses, and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor’s Society. Kristen has diverse experience as a bedside nurse working in cardiology, critical care, and newborn and postpartum care. She is passionate about family medicine, preventive and integrative medicine, functional medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, women’s health, pediatrics, and chronic disease management. She has a professional focus on nutrigenomics, nutraceuticals, and mind-body therapies to achieve optimal wellness.

Stephanie Tabone, FNP-C

Stephanie Tabone, FNP-C earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. She went on to obtain a Master’s in Nursing Administration from UT Austin and a Master’s in Family Nursing Practice from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau honor societies. She also maintains membership in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Stephanie has a background in medical surgical nursing, public health, and rehabilitation nursing. Her passion as a Family Nurse Practitioner is to help people obtain the highest level of health possible, recognizing the challenges many people face on that journey. She has always had a strong interest in integrative and alternative medicine starting with gathering and identifying medicinal herbs in the woods of West Virginia as a young woman, along with keeping a constant eye on the research establishing integrative practices into the standard of care. Stephanie also has a special interest in general family medicine, functional medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and pediatrics.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, organic gardening, camping, taking long walks in the woods with her husband Bright, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Whitney Wattinger, PA-C

Whitney Wattinger, PA-C, is a dedicated healthcare professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health from Texas A&M University and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She is a member of the following esteemed organizations: the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and Eta Sigma Gamma Honorary Society for health educators. Robyn Brush, LAc

Robyn Brush, LAc received her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.  After moving to Austin from the Midwest, Robyn obtained her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine.  She is board certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board.  She is a certified practitioner of the American Organization for the Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA), practicing Tuina, Gua sha, and cupping therapies.  She maintains a membership with Acupuncturists without Borders. Robyn has experience in treating a wide range of health disorders using acupuncture, bodywork, and herbal medicine, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal pain conditions, headaches and migraines, women’s health, stress and anxiety, and health concerns related to the aging process.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their German Shepard, exploring Austin’s hiking trails, and cooking healthy recipes.

She is licensed by the Texas Medical Board, Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners, and board certified through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is experienced in treating a wide range of health issues and concerns using acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and manual bodywork therapies such as cupping. Jennifer especially enjoys working with her patients on pain management, women’s health, anxiety, and depression.

Outside of work, she spends her time reading, knitting, and playing music in the company of her dog, Cozy, and cat, Scully.
